VIKING - Means of Rescue (MOR) certified by DNV in accordance with SOLAS/MED, RMRS and relevant flag state approvals. The operation of VIKING MOR is similar to standard davit-launched liferafts.
The 12 persons Means of Rescue liferaft is intended for retrieval of passengers or crew from sea level to the deck in an emergency situation.
Carrying capacity: 12 persons lying down.
Operation is similar to standard davit-launched liferafts and kept at the ship's side with bowing lines. The liferaft is to be connected to the davit and then inflated on deck levels, thus enabling the passengers to board the liferaft from deck
